The ritual complications of our courtesy, the persistence of classical Humanism, our fondness for closed poetic forms, our love for geometry, in the decorative arts and for design and composition in painting, the poverty of our Romantic art compared with the excellence of our Baroque art, the formalism of our political institutions, and, finally, our dangerous inclination toward formalism.

My buddy Dane Lee started this publication called Ingenue and was wondering if I could help out Melvin Sokolsky with some retouching.
So I headed out to his home in Beverly Hills not knowing what to expect. Not only did he turn me on to the liquify tool but we had a great conversation about the subtleties of natural light.
After nice pasta lunch on his patio he let me check out the original contacts from this Paris shoot. In which I consider to be one of the most iconic series in fashion photography.
